+ - Herbert estate forces Paramount to make Dune soon 1

Submitted by

bowman9991 writes "Paramount's 'Dune' movie adaptation is in trouble, with the Herbert estate forcing Paramount to get the production up and running by May 2011 at the latest. If not, Paramount will no longer be able to adapt Frank Herbert's novel for the big screen. The threat comes as Paramount reveals that they are again looking for a director after Pierre Morel moved to an executive producer role. Morel had replaced Peter Berg who has left to direct 'Battleship'."
