+ - Cloud Providers Leak Customer Data On 'Dirty Disks'->

Submitted by

judgecorp writes "At least two cloud service providers are leaking data between their customers by not cleaning the storage areas which are shared between different users. Security firm Context found that on both Rackspace and VPS.net a user on one accout could read data which had been deleted by users on other accounts. Both firms say they have fixed the problem, but Context says there is an underlying issue with the OnApp platform widely used by cloud service providers."
