Anonymous GiTS fan writes "According to Variety's website Dreamworks aquired the rights for Ghost in the Shell. I think its a shame for the fans to see it go down this way even though Dreamworks can produce some very nice animations. But a 3D version of GiTS S.A.C. (Stand Alone Complex)? I don't think they'll manage to give it the current coolness factor nor will they ever be able to come up with a deep mind boggleing story like we're used to. I fear that they'll numb a lot down in order to please the bigger audience. If Spielberg really liked GiTS so much then why the hell couldn't he just leave it alone and simply donate to the project as a whole?"
