This is Disney/Hollywood flogging a horse that is not only dead but has been pushing up the daisies for over a decade.
The problem is a real lack of originality in the world of Movie Making in the USA. How many prequels/sequels that are nowhere near as good as the original have been released in the past 30 years? Then we get the Marvel universe and all its spin offs. Lots of action but really very little in the way of good story telling. Then there are the movies that are plain c r a p. Disney/Hollywood really does need to up its game or the likes of Netflix will take their lunch away.
