This seems like an article that would had been on Slashdot over 20 years ago. Back at that point it would had been really cool. However with cheap hardware like the Raspberry Pi, Common 3D Printing, and rather large SSD Storage that is cheap, small in size and can run at a decent speed. It isn't that interesting anymore, as it would be most teenagers hobbyist day project to make one of these.
Back 21 years A Potato Powered Web Server [slashdot.org] was actually a much bigger deal, as it was difficult to get a low powe
True, However we don't post how exceptional every-time a carpenter uses dovetail joints. Sure dovetail joinery takes some skill and it is a sign of a good craftsman. However it isn't something that we need to publish as something exceptional.
The Simpson TV is a cleaver bit of Art, and probably was a fun project, however it isn't anything really exceptional that is pushing any sort of boundaries.
Old school Slashdot... But not really impressive. (Score:0)

I hear you, especially given how far past its prime the series is.
Still, a fun thing to do. Just because saws and hammers are ubiquitous we don't condemn the creative endeavors of a craftsman carpenter.

Yes but it's news for nerds, a fun thing, and a story that doesn't attract any political sniping for and against he who shall not be named here.
Dang me, they oughta take a rope and hang me. I feel nervous even mentioning that. Mod me troll.
