This seems like an article that would had been on Slashdot over 20 years ago. Back at that point it would had been really cool. However with cheap hardware like the Raspberry Pi, Common 3D Printing, and rather large SSD Storage that is cheap, small in size and can run at a decent speed. It isn't that interesting anymore, as it would be most teenagers hobbyist day project to make one of these.
